Bio:

Carina Montagut holds a Tourism degree and a Master’s in Marketing and Commercial Management, complemented by continuous professional development, including the Venue Digital Intrapreneurship program.

She began her career in the Tourism Industry, working in travel agencies, hotels, and campsites, and has been active in the MICE sector since 2002. At Feria Valencia, Carina progressed from the Commercial Department through Investment & Development and Events teams to become Strategic Events Manager, later promoted to Director of Events. Her experience also includes roles as postgraduate lecturer, conference speaker, and moderator, with recent appearances at Convening EMEA (Netherlands), UFI European Conference (Greece), ICCA Congress (Portugal), INTUR and IBTM (Spain).

An active ICCA member, Carina has served on the Iberian Chapter Executive Committee since 2014, managed its Secretariat since 2019, and joined ICCA’s International Board of Directors in 2022 as a venue representative.
