Bio:

Christoph Tessmar was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on 3 May 1964. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Boehringer Mannheim, where he worked in both Germany and Barcelona. In 1999, he joined Sanofi-Aventis, where he established the congress department for the company’s Spanish affiliate.

In 2012, he became Director of the Barcelona Convention Bureau. He also served as President of the Iberian Chapter of ICCA from 2019 to 2023. Since November 2023, he has been serving as the European Regional Representative on the ICCA Board of Directors.
