Bio:

Paola Piza has more than 20 years of experience in the global meetings and events industry, specialising in international congress development, destination positioning, and strategic partnerships across the meetings ecosystem. She currently serves as Head of the Madrid Office at bnetwork, where she collaborates closely with event organisers, PCOs, venues and destinations to support the strategic management of accommodation programmes and delegate flows for major international conferences.

Prior to her current role in Europe, Paola held leadership roles in Colombia, including Director of the Bogotá Convention Bureau and Head of Business Development for the Medellín Convention Bureau. She also served as Regional Head of Business Development at Kenes Group, held senior roles in convention centres, and contributed to the relaunch of the Cali–Valle Convention Bureau and the creation of the Quindío Convention Bureau, supporting the international positioning of these Colombian destinations.

Paola is also a Certified International Convention Executive (CICE).
